Covid-19 Vax-a-thon week

Queensland is having a vax-a-thon week across the state in a push to get as many people vaccinated as possible. The Premier has announced a vaccine plan to ease travel restrictions once 70% and 80% of eligible Queenslanders are fully vaccinated, and it’s important that as many people with disability as possible are vaccinated once restrictions are removed. We know the vaccination rates for people with disability are lower than the general population, and also more likely to experience serious illness if they get COVID-19.

Queensland Government has released their plan for the borders and can be found here.

People who remain unvaccinated will also find there are barriers to travel and services as the grounds for medical exemptions will be very limited.

You can find vaccination locations here and also on the Queensland Government site here.
