Get Ready, Plan Ahead - Charters Towers Workshops

Emergency preparedness is important for people with disability and the organisations that support them.

Emergency preparedness workshops are coming to Charters Towers in May 2024!

Two separate workshops are happening in one convenient location.

  • Get Ready, Plan Ahead workshop - For people with disability and additional health and support needs to learn about individual emergency preparedness, using Person-Centred Emergency Preparedness (P-CEP).
  • Business Continuity Planning workshop – For organisations and businesses to learn about planning in times of disaster.

Choose the workshop that suits your needs.

We encourage disability and community organisations to support their participants to attend the emergency preparedness workshops, while senior operational staff and managers attend the business continuity planning workshop. For a larger group booking, please contact the QDN team at didrr@qdn.org.au or call Helen Styles at 0468 455 847.
