PROJECT OFFICER – ENGAGEMENT AND CAPACITY BUILDING

QDN are seeking applications for the position of Project Officer – Engagement and Capacity Building, located in Spring Hill, Brisbane.  This role is classified as a Level 5.1 position and the hours are up to 38 hours per week (fixed term contract to 31 December 2022. with possibility of extension)

PURPOSE

The Project Officer – Engagement and Capacity Building (PO) is responsible for engaging with people with disability, community and key stakeholders to support the work and membership growth of local peer support groups across the state, to grow QDN’s state-wide member network, and undertake relevant project implementation.

Responsibilities can include providing engagement with people with disability, community and mainstream services, government departments, and broader community, planning, coordination of engagement activities, contribution to development of written work and user-friendly information, resources and material.

OPERATIONS MANAGER

QDN are seeking applications for the position of Operations Manager, located in  Spring Hill, Brisbane.  This role is classified as a Level 6 position and the hours are up to 38 hours per week (18 Month contract with possibility of extension)

PURPOSE

The Operations Manager position is responsible for leading the back office functions of QDN, including:

  • managing the general administration and finance team (up to five members) and their allocation to other service lines (including governance/secretariat for the Board)
  • oversight of all administration, facilities management, financial (including facilities contracts), quality, governance, ICT and HR related aspects of the organization
  • leading budget development with the QDN management team
  • ensuring payroll and human resource practices are best practice and adhered to, and
  • oversight of all marketing, communications and media, working collaboratively across the organisation to help build our growing brand, including the QDeNgage brand.
