Business Continuity Planning in times of disaster workshop
Getting businesses back to delivering services faster!
Scenic Rim Regional Council and Queenslanders with Disability Network (QDN) are working together to deliver a workshop on planning in times of disaster for local organisations and businesses.
Planning for business continuity prior to disaster events supports organisations to find the balance between meeting the demand for services and the disruption to your organisation’s infrastructure.
This workshop is for any community service organisation, business or sole trader to assist with identifying risks and planning to minimise disruption to services when disasters strike.
We have the tools and resources to accelerate your planning and help review your existing plans.
Please join us for an interactive free workshop that will support your organisation or business to:
- Develop understanding of Business Continuity Planning (BCP) in times of disaster
- Participate in scenario planning to identify gaps in your current BCP or start your BCP.
- Provide tools and resources to complete BCP in your own organisation.
- Raise awareness of ensuring BCP is inclusive of people with disability and other people at risk in the local community.
For more information, please contact Queenslanders with Disability Network (QDN) on 1300 363 783 or email didrr@qdn.org.au.
Assistance provided by the Australian Government through the Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources.
We acknowledge the diverse communities in the region this workshop is taking place. We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the lands within the Scenic Rim – the Mununjali, Wangerriburra, Ugurapul and Migunberri people. We pay respect to their Elders, past, present and emerging.
