Zahava Robb
Hi, my name’s Zahava (Goldie). I was born in Israel and at the age of 8 I was diagnosed with childhood arthritis, since then I have undergone quite a number of orthopedic surgeries. I’m also deaf on one side.
In 2003 I moved to Brisbane after marrying my Australian husband who I met in Florida the year before. I’m passionate about passing on the life experience I gained as a woman with physical limitations.
I’m an accomplished public speaker, having presented in Australia and Israel to a wide audience, including medical teams at the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
The main message from my presentations is self-acceptance and believing in your abilities (and having fun!).
Being active in the local Israeli community, I aim to share my story with as many people who may be interested. As well as being a presenter, I’ve also been an on-air broadcaster with local radio in Brisbane, Hebrew language program.
I’m looking forward to sharing my story and journey with you all.
