Vaccination Update
People with disability and their support workers remain a priority for vaccination bookings. You can find information on how to register here.
If you haven’t yet had your first dose we encourage you to make arrangements to get one – the online booking system can take some time, so you can also call the COVID phone line on 134 268. Be prepared to sit on hold for a while, but they are operating 24 hours a day and they are very helpful.
When booking, make sure you let them know if you have a disability as this gives you priority, and they can also talk to you about accessibility and any other arrangements. People with disability and their support workers are eligible to access the Pfizer vaccine – it’s useful for workers to take their Yellow Card or employment ID to their appointment.
Make sure you book in for your second dose when you have your first if you haven’t already. Take your Medicare card and some photo ID to your appointment – it helps with registering your vaccination on the immunisation register.
