e-Blast: QDN Office re-opening 6 July 

Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to getting back to some face-to-face connection with members. Though we’ve enjoyed our telephone and video chats with you all, we are delighted to let you know that from Monday 6 July 2020 QDN will be re-opening our office in Brisbane, during our normal opening hours of 9:00 am-5:00 pm.

Health First

At QDN we are always safety conscious, and during this time, in line with Government guidelines, we have to put in place extra safety precautions to help protect you and staff.  If you visit our office, you will be asked to:

• use the hand sanitiser provided when you arrive
• sign in by providing your name, address, phone number and arrival time
• practice social distancing (stay 1.5 metres from other people)
• wash your hands regularly
• sign out when you leave and use the hand sanitiser again

QDN will continue to monitor the number of people in our office space at any one time, to comply with current health guidelines around social distancing.

Local Support Groups

QDN is working with group convenors around how we safely move back to face-to-face Local Support Group meetings and still comply with COVID-19 rules.  Group convenors will be discussing future options with group members. In the meantime, we are continuing with on-line zoom video conferencing LSG meetings.

QDeNgage

QDeNgage staff and consultants have continued to work hard over the past two months. Technology has become a firm friend and through online platforms QDeNgage consultants are providing their input on a range of topics.
