Advice for downloading accessible documents when using Microsoft edge
To ensure the accessible word document opens and reads correctly for Screen reader technology, please follow these steps:
- Open Microsoft Edge and click on the three horizontal dots (More button) in the top-right corner.
- Select "Settings" from the dropdown menu.
- Scroll down and click on the word "Downloads".
- Find the option that states "Open office files in browser" and turn off setting to enable automatic downloads.
