On 3 December 2020, International Day of People with Disability, applications opened for the first QDN Emerging Leaders program.  This inaugural program is a first for QDN to deliver a formal and structured leadership program and builds upon the organisations 20 years of work in developing leaders with disability to ensure that there is ‘nothing about us without us.’

The 2021 program involved 20 emerging leaders who are people with diverse disability from across the state.  Below are the profiles and more information about the 20 Emerging Leaders.

The program was delivered both through face to face and monthly virtual workshops offering a rich and diverse range of Queensland and Australian disability and community leaders sharing their knowledge and experience.  Find out more about the speakers and workshops below.
