Now in its 4th year, this landmark survey gathers lived experience insights to strengthen disability advocacy, supports and policy across Queensland.
Week 3 update
More voices are coming through in the 2026 Voice of Queenslanders with Disability Survey this week.
We’re seeing a strong increase in responses, especially from:
younger people aged 18 – 39
people working in disability organisations.
We would welcome more voices from:
people with intellectual disability
people aged over 60
First Nations people
people from culturally and linguistically diverse communities
people living in regional and remote Queensland.

Why this survey matters
The survey findings are used to:
inform disability policy priorities
strengthen advocacy for people with disabilities
guide sector reform, and
influence decisions that impact people with disability and those who support them.

Who can complete the survey?
This survey is for:
people with disability
carers
family members
people who support someone with disability, and
disability sector workers.
If you are part of the disability community in Queensland, your voice matters.
What to expect
The survey takes approximately 30 minutes.
You can take your time.
You can complete it in a way that works for you.
Accessible formats and support will be available.
What happens next?
After the survey closes on 17 April 2026:
responses are analysed
key themes and findings are identified
the public report on the survey findings will be published in August 2026
throughout the year, QDN will host community events to share findings and discuss advocacy priorities. Event details will be updated on the QDN website.
