    2026 Voice of Queenslanders with Disability Survey

    The 2026 Voice of Queenslanders with Disability Survey opens at 10am on Wednesday 18 February 2026.

    The survey will be open until 5pm on Friday 17 April 2026.

    Now in its 4th year, this landmark survey gathers lived experience insights to strengthen disability advocacy, supports and policy across all of Queensland.

    Why this survey matters

    The survey is delivered by Griffith University in partnership with Queenslanders with Disability Network and funded by the Queensland Government.

    The findings are used to:

    • inform disability policy priorities
    • strengthen advocacy for people with disability
    • guide sector reform, and
    • influence decisions that impact people with disability and those who support them.

    Who can complete the survey?

    This survey is for:

    • people with disability
    • carers
    • family members
    • people who support someone with disability, and
    • disability sector workers.

    What to expect

    • The survey takes approximately around 30 minutes.
    • You can take your time.
    • You can complete it in a way that works for you.
    • Accessible formats and support will be available.

    The survey link will be published here from 10am on Wednesday 18 February 2026.

     

    What happens next?

    After the survey closes on 17 April 2026:

    • responses are analysed
    • key themes and findings are identified
    • the public report on the survey findings will be published in August 2026
    • throughout the year, QDN will host community events to share findings and discuss advocacy priorities. Event details will be updated on the QDN website.

    In 2025, more than 700 Queenslanders participated.

    In 2026, we are seeking to hear from even more people across metropolitan, regional and remote communities.

    The more voices we hear, the stronger the evidence for change.
