Join the LGBTQIA+ Local Peer Support Group hosted by the Queenslanders with Disability Network (QDN), the executive peak body for people with disabilities in Queensland. This group is run, by, and for people with disability who also identify as sexuality or gender diverse. The group offers a unique space for mutual support, empowerment, and advocacy.

LGBTQIA+ stands for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer (or sometimes questioning), intersex, asexual, and others. The "plus" represents other sexual identities, including pansexual and Two-Spirit.

The supportive group collaborates and networks to raise awareness around disability access and inclusion as well as discussing ways to combat all forms of discrimination.

Group Convenors Ronnie and Karen host monthly online meetings, providing a welcoming environment where members can connect, share experiences, and discuss matters impacting their lives.
