2026 QDN Emerging Leaders Program

The Emerging Leaders Program continues to build the leadership credentials of people with disability by introducing learning opportunities to develop skills to influence change in their own lives and in their communities.

Face-to-face workshops, online interactive sessions, mentorship, and community activities are just some of proven methods of the Emerging Leaders program.

The ten-month program provides a safe and inclusive environment to develop critical thinking, explore leadership theory, systems thinking and systems change, practice techniques, have inquiring conversations, build relationships, and connect with established leaders.

The opportunities presented by the Emerging Leaders Program also include peer connection to other leaders with lived experience in an environment which embraces difference.
