e-Blast: Virtual Forum Series for people with disability: COVID Conversations #2

Getting the healthcare you need during COVID-19: Being prepared and knowing your rights

Queenslanders with Disability Network (QDN), in partnership with Health Consumers Queensland (HCQ), is holding a series of 3 COVID Conversations for people with disability and their supporters.

We know that things are changing on a daily basis and this is important because we want you to have the most up to date information to remain safe and have your rights protected.

The second conversation is “Getting the healthcare you need during COVID-19: Being prepared and knowing your rights”

Conversations will involve knowing your rights during COVID, getting prepared for hospital, what supports you can have in hospital, and making a COVID-19 individual plan.

We will have guest speakers from QDN, HCQ, Australian Human Rights Commission and Queensland Health.

It will be held via zoom from 10:30am until 12:00pm on Thursday 3 September.

This is a free event for people with disabilities, it is important to register for the event
