Getting on the NDIS grid – update # 2

Recently, Alison McLean, one of the presenters on the 4ZZZ program Only Human and also one of QDN’s Getting on the Grid’s Peer Leaders, interviewed Paul Gabbert from the Grid team about the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) on the Only Human program.

The interview is about 16.5 minutes long and gives a good overview of when the NDIS will begin in South East Queensland, how it will support people with disabilities to achieve their goals in life and how people can access the scheme.

Getting on the NDIS grid – update # 1

It was great to chat to so many people at the recent Brisbane’s Homeless Connect Expo.

We had lots of questions and hopefully supplied some answers about the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

We hope to send out these Newsletters every so often to inform you about the NDIS, how to access it and think about your first plan.
