Inclusive Disaster Resilience Events

Join QDN for a series of inclusive disaster resilience events in five Queensland communities.

Do you want to work together to create a more inclusive and disaster resilient community?

QDN, with project partners The University of Sydney and the Community Services Industry Alliance (CSIA) are bringing a series of two-day inclusive community resilience events to five communities across Queensland over the next two years as part of the Building Inclusive Disaster Resilient Communities project (BIDRC).

We are holding community forums in the Lockyer Valley, Somerset, Scenic Rim, Southern Downs and Livingstone Regions. At these events we will develop inclusive strategies, plans and actions that will help us to act together before, during and after a disaster to include people with disability and others in our community.

These events are for people with disability and supporters, emergency services, local Council, disability and community service providers, and interested community members.
