Living with COVID-19 in 2023

Online Q&A with Queensland Deputy Chief Health Officer for people with disability, their families & carers 

This is a free online webinar for people with disability, their families and carers hosted by Queenslanders with Disability Network (QDN) and Health Consumers Queensland (HCQ). Attendees will hear directly from Queensland Deputy Chief Health Officer Dr Lynne McKinlay, who will be discussing Queensland’s COVID-19 Traffic Light System and how people with disability can keep safe from COVID-19. This is an opportunity for people with disability, their families and carers, to have their COVID-19 questions and concerns answered. During the initial part of the session attendees will watch a new Queensland Health video featuring Queensland Deputy Chief Health Officer Dr Lynne McKinlay and QDN Peer Leader Alison MacLean. The video covers information about:

• The Queensland Health Traffic Light System 
• Vaccines 
• Anti-viral medication 
• What to do if you get COVID-19 
• The Hospital in the Home service 
• Rules for people who self-manage their NDIS plan 
• Information for people with disability who live in homes with four or more people with disability
