The Caboolture Peer Support Group is a group for people with disability, run by people with disability living in the Caboolture area. Group Convenors, Angie Keegan, Alison Barber and Wendy McCracken hosts monthly meetings in Caboolture.
The Caboolture Peer Support Group talk about a range of topics including local services and supports, housing, travel and accessible holidays, planning for an emergency and the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
The Group meets monthly on the last Saturday of the month at the Caboolture Sports Club, 19-27 Station Rd, Morayfield QLD 4506.

Peer support is talking to people who are on the same level. By having conversations within the peer support group network it alleviates stress and trauma, to have peers with lived experiences that can inform others as well as having guests that come to meetings with knowledge and experience of relevant information that can be passed on to other peers and peer networks.”
